The company has recently completed an internal restructuring of ownership that now allows PDC Construction to qualify under WBE ( Women Business Enterprise) as a designated minority owned operation.

History
PDC Construction was formed in 1986 to provide quality construction for our development company, Phillips Development Corporation. We have since constructed and currently own more than 60 multifamily complexes in Arkansas, Missouri, and Kentucky. Over the years, we have maintained an active role in the construction of banks, hotels, office buildings, retail centers, and educational facilities for ourselves as well as third party clients.

What We Do
PDC Construction serves several roles within The PDC Companies. PDC Construction can provide technical and professional expertise for all types of construction. Our principals and staff have more than 100 years of construction experience, ranging from multifamily housing to banking, hotels, commercial shopping and educational facilities. Our experience means accurate cost estimates at the earliest stages of a project, saving owners time and money.

We provide value-engineering services to owners and design professionals, making recommendations for product specifications, and scheduling and building systems to ensure quality - all while meeting budgetary and timing constraints. When a project moves through the construction phase, PDC Construction acts as general contractor, using on-site superintendents for every job, providing a local point of contact and maintaining organized, consistent workflow.

Because we use federal and state funds in multifamily project construction, we have experienced cost accounting and record-keeping departments. Our familiarity with Davis-Bacon requirements and cost certification ensures complete and accurate project accounting.
